Total Mercado Livre sales rise 21% at the end of 2022

Net revenue increased by 28% in Brazilian reais, differing from GMV.

Mercado Livre, an e-commerce platform, released data for the 4th quarter of 2022. The numbers show a 21.9% increase in the company's total sales compared to the end of 2021.

The company disclosed a GMV of US$ 9.6 billion in Latin America last quarter (between R$ 23 billion and R$ 25 billion) since Brazil represents approximately 45% of the total GMV.

Net revenue, which considers the company's sales and other earnings, increased by 28% in Brazilian reais, differing from GMV.
