The world's narrowest skyscraper has been completed and adds a new icon to New York's famous Manhattan skyline. The Steinway Tower has a height-to-width ratio of 24 to 1. In other words, for every 24 meters in height, the building is 1 meter wide.
At 435 meters high, it is also one of the tallest buildings in the western hemisphere, second only to two others in New York City: One World Trade Center, at 541 meters, and the Central Park Tower, at 472 meters high.
