During the final week of the year, the FII Vinci Shopping Centers (VISC11) seized the opportunity to embark on a shopping spree. The fund announced its intention to acquire seven shopping malls scattered across Brazil, in a transaction valued at R$ 537 million.
The shopping malls involved in this transaction are as follows:
It's noteworthy that out of the acquired portfolio, six ventures belong to Allos, with the exception of Madureira Shopping.
ALLOS has officially confirmed the sale of its assets through a statement, spread across Paraná, Maranhão, Rio Grande do Sul, São Paulo, and Rio de Janeiro. The company is poised to gain a substantial R$442.8 million from this transaction.
As part of this move, ALLOS will part ways with São Luís Shopping in Maranhão. In the case of the other shopping centers, the company is selectively selling portions of its stake in each property. In their official communication, ALLOS underscores that these divestments underscore the company's prowess in executing transactions that not only create substantial value for shareholders but also reflect a consistent commitment to identifying opportunities for optimizing the Company's capital allocation.
Another recent move occurred in November of this year when ALLOS signed a commitment to purchase and sell 60% of Jardim Sul Shopping and 43% of Boulevard Shopping Bauru to Hedge. The total value of the combined operations is R$444.4 million.
In September, the owner and administrator of shopping malls issued a statement informing that it had signed a partial purchase and sale commitment for Plaza Sul Shopping for a total amount of R$120 million.
All these movements are taking place after the merger of Aliansce Sonae and brMalls, which created the brand ALLOS. At that time, the company owned 62 shopping centers throughout Brazil.
