Abril's former headquarters was acquired by the Fares family, owner of Marabraz

Editora Abril's former headquarters at the marginal Tietê, in São Paulo, was acquired by the Fares family real estate business, known for owning the furniture retailer Marabraz. The auction took place on Friday (21), but the buyer's name hasn't been disclosed.
Folha confirmed on Thursday (27) with people close to the operation that partners acquired Marabraz, but not directly by the retailer. The winning bidder is LP Administradora de Bens LTDA., Represented by the partners Nader Fares and Abdul Fares.
