The investment will be around R$50 million. The money will come from business owners from Rio Grande do Sul, who owns the park. The amount was used to meet Amazon's demands, say the partners of 3SB. "This job was signed in March, and we are delivering the first phase now in August, with 23 thousand square meters. The remaining is scheduled for May next year, but we are already in talks to push back it for November this year", reveals Eltamar Salvadori, one of the 5 partners of 3SB. Approximately 200 people are currently working on the construction and adjustments to the pavilion.
The official announcement by Amazon is expected to be made next week, and the part that falls under the municipality's responsibility, such as obtaining the occupancy permit (Habite-se), should be completed by the end of the month, according to Margarete Simon Ferreti.
