Amazon announced that it has put up an office complex in California, US for sale. The Metro Corporate Center complex was acquired in 2021 for US$ 123 million.

The company intends to dispose of this expansion carried out during the pandemic. When acquired in 2021, the strategy was to use properties close to large cities.Additionally, part of the plan for the 117,363 m² complex was to replace the offices with delivery points. However, the development was put on hold due to new city regulations.

"We are always evaluating our network to ensure it meets our business needs," Amazon spokesman Steve Kelly said in an official statement released by the company.
