What do memes about Faria Lima reveal about the financial market itself? In a new episode of the SiiLA NXT Podcast, hosted by Giancarlo Nicastro, the creator behind Arthurito discusses the character’s journey, the behavior of industry professionals and how he turns complex topics into humorous content.

For years, the creator managed the account while pursuing a traditional career in the financial market. Anonymity emerged as a way to prevent these two activities from conflicting and to preserve his independence when criticizing the industry’s institutions, trends and behaviors. Even after temporarily leaving his corporate career to focus on digital content, he decided to keep the helmet as part of the character’s identity.

The decision is also connected to how he wants his work to be evaluated. “I’m much happier when someone praises the content, or when I see a post gain traction and go viral, than when I receive a personal compliment,” he says. For him, anonymity reduces the influence of appearance, lifestyle and personal charisma, placing ideas at the center of his relationship with the audience.
