Catarina Fashion Outlet, in São Roque city (SP) saw its latest expansion completed, nearly doubling its size, with an investment of R$ 200 million, (US$ 39.4 million*). The addition of 22,000 square meters of Gross Leasable Area (GLA) brings the total GLA to 51,000 square meters, accommodating 300 operations.
Located at kilometer 60 on Castello Branco Highway, Catarina was inaugurated in 2014 by the developer JHSF Malls and is also the managed by the company. According to GROCS, a platform focused on the shopping malls segment, Catarina Fashion Outlet counts XPML11 and CPSH11 real estate funds among its owners.
This expansion introduced four cinema halls and a beauty salon to the mall, along with stores from renowned brands like Alexandre Birman, PatBO, Carters, NBA Store, The North Face, and Vans, among others. Additionally, eight new restaurants, including Don Patto, Applebee’s, Bullguer, and Pecorino, have opened, alongside 16 food kiosks.
The design, overseen by architect Paulo Baruki and landscape artist Maria João D’Orey in collaboration with Sig Bergamin and Murilo Lomas, retained the architectural features that define the space, preserving the open-air outlet layout with tree-lined walkways, spacious areas, and a pet-friendly environment.
Catarina Fashion Outlet is renowned for providing discounts of up to 70% year-round and offers amenities such as parking for cars, motorcycles, and buses, as well as valet service on weekends. Other conveniences for visitors include electric cars chargers, baby changing facilities, baby strollers, and pet facilities.
Even before this third expansion (with the previous ones in 2015 and 2018), Catarina had already amassed over 200 brands, many of them international luxury labels like Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Burberry, and Salvatore Ferragamo.
