The builder and developer of commercial and residential real estate Gafisa informed the market, through a material fact, that it will start the process of re-listing the company's shares on the New York Stock Exchange (New York Security Exchange – NYSE).

According to the statement, Gafisa's expects the re-listing of shares on the NYSE, in the form of deposit certificates - American Depositary Receipts (ADRs), to attract "positive reflections on liquidity, shareholder base and share pricing", given that the initiative "will imply direct exposure of Gafisa to the largest capital market in the world".
