10/03/2022 In a statement to the market, Grupo Mateus announced that it is expanding its operation. Now the city of Sousa, in Paraíba, receives the group's first operation, a store with 2,206 sq metres.
The supermarket company continues to consolidate its presence in the Northeast of the country, now with operations in 8 states and Maranhão.
In 2022, Grupo Mateus opened 25 stores and ended September with 226 stores in operation.
