Learn more about the new work in the Pinacoteca building

Governor Rodrigo Garcia revealed on Thursday (29) the construction of the Pinacoteca Contemporânea, the museum of the Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy of the State of São Paulo.
The new space will be integrated into the museum's other two buildings - Pinacoteca Luz and Pinacoteca Estação.
With the third building, Pinacoteca de São Paulo will become one of the largest art museums in Latin America, with up to one million visitors a year. The inauguration is scheduled for the 25th of January.
The investment by the government of São Paulo was R$ 55 million. The governor thanked the Gouvêa Telles family, which contributed with the necessary resources, R$ 30 million, without the stimulus law.
The project was created to integrate the centennial neighborhoods of Parque da Luz and Bom Retiro e Luz.
