The focus of the logistics center will be to meet the demands of all the company’s sales and distribution platforms. Leroy Merlin’s new operation will add 300 new jobs to the 10,000 existing stations in its 43 stores throughout Brazil.
"With the growth of our commercial network, currently comprising 43 stores in 12 states plus the Federal District, and the increase in digital demand in e-commerce and the marketplace, especially in the Southeast, we have invested in expanding and optimizing our logistics network near the capital of São Paulo to facilitate the receipt and distribution of goods. In this way, Leroy Merlin will reduce lead times and costs, further improve the level of service to our customers and suppliers, and invest increasingly in technology for the movement and distribution of goods in a modern warehouse adapted to our needs", said Renato A. Coltro, Director of Development, Expansion, and Institutional Relations (C-Level Executive) at Leroy Merlin Brazil.
