Magalu's distribution center wins award at GRI Awards 2022

Last week, the GRI Club held the GRI Awards, an annual
award that recognizes outstanding real estate developments, projects, and leaders
in the industry.
Among other awarded projects, Magalu's built-to-suit
distribution center received the award in the "Best Industrial &
Logistics Project" category.
Managed by GLP, the distribution center is located in
the GLP Guarulhos II complex. Classified as an A+ by the SiiLA Market Analytics
platform, the asset is located between the Ayrton Senna and Presidente Dutra
highways, and has 250,139 m² of ABL.
The construction of the distribution center for Magalu
was completed in just 12 months and is already in operation. This is the
largest built-to-suit project carried out by GLP in the country. According to
the developer, the new DC is in the process of being certified to obtain the
LEED Gold seal for sustainable construction.
GLP will also reforest 177,000 m² in an area of
environmental preservation, where 15.4 thousand seedlings of native tree
species will be planted. According to GLP, 70% have already been planted.
