The company is now located in the Atrium VII building in Vila Olímpia, one of São Paulo's CBD regions. Prior to moving to their current office, NOAH occupied a co-working space at International Plaza. The move to Vila Olímpia follows the trend of increased office occupancy in the region. According to Market Analytics, there has been a reduction in vacancy rates compared to 2021. In Q4 2022, Vila Olímpia had a vacancy rate of 15.45% for Classes A+, A and B, compared to 18.67% at the end of 2021.
NOAH's CMO, Cintia Valente, spoke with the SiiLA team to provide insights into the process of their move from co-working to their own space.
Valente stated that the decision was made after their co-working space reached 100% capacity, mainly due to the return of in-person work. This prompted NOAH's desire to have their own branded space for greater privacy and freedom to host partners, clients, and investors.
Valente admitted that transitioning from a co-working space to their own office was a challenge, as co-working provides unmatched operational benefits. However, the freedom and sense of having a branded space were strong motivators for a young company. Valente stated that having their own space formalizes their existence as a company.
The space they chose was a suite in the Atrium VII building, which has 5,912 m² of total private area and 14 floors, according to SiiLA Market Analytics platform.
"The choice of Atrium VII was due to its ideal location, accessibility, building maintenance, and the suite being in excellent condition. We had very few repairs to make, and the suite had just been renovated, which was a significant factor in our decision. Additionally, a café on the ground floor of the building was a huge plus."
Currently, according to Valente, NOAH's team is mainly working in the office, with the option to work from home a few days a week.
NOAH is a construction-tech company that specializes in sustainable construction projects, using engineered wood as its primary material. In early 2022, SiiLA CEO Giancarlo Nicastro spoke with NOAH CEO Nico Theodorakis about their sustainable projects. Check out the interview here.
