The large-scale shelves, packages, and carts filled with numerous products, mostly food items, make the Amazon Distribution Center resemble a hypermarket. However, the delivery logistics reveal the human and technical infrastructure that keeps the facility operating 24 hours a day.
Currently, the company promises to deliver orders within 2 days in over 700 Brazilian cities, including Fortaleza. Despite the promised speed, Amazon ensures there is rigorous quality control in place. Products that are outside the standard or defective are destined for recycling, and a new item will be sent, still within the established timeframe.
