Rental inflation decreases to 0.66% in August but remains above 30% in 12 months

Known as rent inflation, the IGP-M (General Price Index - Market) decreased to 0.66% in August. From this result, the indicator also lost strength in 12 months, but the accumulated still registered substantial variation, of 31.12%.

On Monday (30), the FGV Ibre (Brazilian Institute of Economics of the Getulio Vargas Foundation) published the data. In July, the index had risen 0.78%. The accumulated in 12 months was higher at the time, 33.83%.
