Santander plans employees to work 70% of their time face-to-face

Banco Santander could eventually require employees to return to offices in most cases, according to Banco Santander chairman Ana Botín. But the financial institution, for now, plans to make the workers' journey more flexible.
"We are looking at 60% to 70% in person, 30% to 40% remote. That, I would say, is the range of options we are considering," said Ana, during the annual meeting of members of the Institute of International Finance (IIF), held virtually again this year. "We're not back to normal in many places yet, so we're taking a wait-and-see approach.
