WFH Research survey shows the chosen day to work from home

  • For many Americans, Thursdays have been gaining momentum.

As health restrictions imposed by governments worldwide during the pandemic have been lifted, face-to-face work has gradually returned. We can now state that workers are again filling the offices once again.

It is also a fact that many companies have opted for a hybrid work scheme, where the employee rotates between their home and the office, according to the stipulated days of the week.

A survey carried out by WFH Research was heard by North Americans to find out the preferred day when it comes to working from home.

Unsurprisingly, Friday ranks first as the most popular day on which people choose to work from home, followed by Thursday. On the other hand, Wednesdays are usually the day when the office is most crowded, being the most common for face-to-face work.

The survey result shows how difficult it is for companies to organize themselves with hybrid work, even three months after the end of the pandemic.

Apple is an example of a company that went through mishaps with hybrid work. The company faced resistance from employees when it requested to return to the offices, even with a petition created by employees. Some of these concerns were reported on SiiLA REsource (check out all the news involving the technology company here).
